My husbands grandparents live in the country, with a farm, tons of trees, acres and freedom.
Well, freedom to roam, not necessarily freedom from work.
While we were on vacation in May we took the kids to the farm for a day (and one night)
and they loved it. They loved the open space, the animals and just the farm in general.

I can’t wait to take them back again.
Here are some of my favorite photographs from our day on the farm.

I’m hosting two Random Acts of Kindness weeks
on my family blog, with lots of guest posts and giveaways.

My kids and I got in on the fun today, and had our own Random Acts of Kindness!
We handed out flowers with little cards on them from here.
We left some flowers on cars, some on tables, and some right in the hands of complete strangers.

It was amazing to see the looks on their faces, my kids faces and the recipients faces.
This won’t be the last time we share kindness in a fun and surprising way with strangers.

I am so honored when friends ask me to photograph their families!
I was blessed to be able to have three mini sessions while we were on vacation!
I love to work with people I know and I love to make new friends,
but it’s always special to me to have photos of my close friends!

This family is very special to me, they are very good friends of ours,
and two of the little ones are godchildren to my husband and I.
Thanks Tom and Tami for allowing me to capture your family during this moment in time!

I LOVE when I am able to capture many milestones and memories for families.
And I LOVE that I was able to capture three big milestones for my friends.
I was blessed to take Angela’s maternity photographs,
and Grant’s newborn photographs.
And now as this great family prepares to move on to their next military assignment,
I was honored to take some more family photographs for them.

Steve and Angela, thank you so much for your friendship and for believing in my work as a photographer.
I am so blessed to be able to help you capture these memories…and love that I’ll always have photos of you, my friends, at my disposal!!
I cannot wait till we can see you again and let the little ones run around together…but hopefully we’ll see you before they’re all out of diapers!
We will miss seeing you on Sundays and throughout the week, but will continue to lift you before our Father’s throne in prayer!

I am so glad that Micah and I went out and finally did his two year photo shoot this morning.
He was such a good little man and listened to my direction,
didn’t run away at all and generally took some pretty awesome photos.
I decided to enter my two favorite photos from his session in my collage.
I may just have to get this printed!!!!
