{San Antonio Children’s Photographer}

The other day while the two little ones were sleeping I asked Naomi if I could take her photo.
I still have not had an official “4 year old” session with her, but lots of “unofficial” ones.
This was one such session.

She is so into posing that sometimes it’s hard to catch her in her natural state…
but I think that since I allowed her to pose for me and took some of her with her barbies
that after she got that out of her system I was able to catch the “real” Naomi in between those shots.
And then I get to pick which ones I post and print! Tricky mom hey?

Here are a few of my favorites from our mini unofficial 4 year old session.IMG_3759

{San Antonio Wedding Photographer}

Did you know that I offer gift certificates?
Well, I do and you can purchase them in any amount that you’d like.
My friend (and client) Lydia purchased a gift certificate for her friend Betsy.
Lydia wanted Betsy to be able to have some bridal portraits so she made sure it would happen.
I am thrilled to have my clients refer me to their friends and it means even more
when they buy gift certificates for their friends.

Betsy and I met at the San Antonio Museum of Art and didn’t see one piece of art…
because we just stayed outside and walked around by the Museum Reach area of the Riverwalk.
It was beautiful…every part of it, the Riverwalk, the weather, the bride!
Lots of people were out taking their walks, exercizing, biking, and just strolling on the Riverwalk.
I think every person that walked by congratulated Betsy, asked when the big day was and told her how beautiful she was.
It was hard to not tell them all that she’s been married for two months!

After the wedding bridal sessions and/or bride and groom sessions are SO MUCH FUN!
The pressure is off, the dress has been worn, the shoes are broken in, and the excitement is still fresh.
This session with Betsy was a blast, we hit it off immediately and had fun finding new spots to capture her bridal beauty.

Betsy, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these beautiful timeless moments for you.
I have so many great photographs from our session and can’t wait for you to see them all.
I really hope you’re happy with how they turned out.
Thanks for the fun morning and for being willing to try anything!
Enjoy your sneak peek!

Check this out…her wedding dress has POCKETS! How cool is that?betsy-arches

{San Antonio Family Photographer}

I love it when friends contact me to photograph their families.
It means so much to me that they trust  me and my camera to be able to
help them capture these precious fleeting moments in their lives.

Stephen and Natalie live in Houston but have family in San Antonio,
so they took some time out of “hunting weekend” to have me photograph their new family of three.

Benjamin is two months old and what a sweetheart!
He may have started out unhappy but once he got some food in his tummy he was workin it for the camera.
The little man has a great smile and I’m sure you can see where he gets it from!

Stephen and Natalie, thank you for allowing me the great honor of photographing your adorable son…
and you two good lookin folks as well.
I hope you love your sneak peek….I can’t wait for you to see all the great photos I got.
Here’s to many more captured memories!

Often times my clients will ask me what is the best way to get most of my images in print?
My answer to them is to get an album!
I offer albums from two different companies with many different size options.
I design all my albums and allow my clients to “proof” them before they are printed.

This album is a 5×5 and a perfect brag book.
Consider ordering an album with all your favorite images from your session…

I decided to join in a little photo challenge over at Polka Dot’s Fashion Blog.
There is no particular theme but she asked people to enter photos that
“show me the beauty that you have found in this beautiful world.”

I can’t think of anything more beautiful in the world than life itself.
I just so happen to have three beautiful lives under my roof and I wanted to share them.
Here are three of my favorite photos from these pasts three weeks of Hannah’s life.
