I love meeting and working with new people. I had met Rebecca a couple of times before…but sort of in passing.
Rebecca’s dad is the new music director at our church (and drives 1.5 hours to get there). We’re so glad to have him.
And I’m so glad to have met Rebecca and to have worked with her.
We had a great time trotting around San Antonio and finding fun backgrounds for this beautiful girl.
Rebecca, here’s a SMALL sneak peak. I’ve got tons more for you but have to finish editing them.
Hopefully before you return back from Christmas break they’ll be all done!
Thanks Rebecca for the awesomely fun morning! Tell Tandy that I’m glad she tagged along!
It was a blast meeting and working with you!!!

We enjoyed a very nice vacation in the Hill Country last week.
We loved spending time together,
playing, being silly,
eating out, eating in,
watching too much tv and movies,
and just being together…
just the four of us.
While in the hill country we made it to
Historic Gruene.
What a beautiful little place.
We enjoyed a nice lunch at the gristmill
and loved the scenic drive.
Here are a few photos from our short time in Gruene.

I love my old camera collection.
It is very special to me.
Not just because I’m a photographer and love cameras.
But because they once belonged to my grandmother.
I have added to my collection but the collection started because of her.
While browsing at an antique mall near my home I came across this beauty.
It is an Argus 40.
Which truthfully means nothing to me, but I thought some of you might want to know.
I just knew that with this camera I’d not only be adding to my collection,
but I’d be able to try something new.
Something called TTV. Through The Viewfinder.
Althought my TTV is not really the correct way of doing it, it’s a start.

And this is what I was photographing through the viewfinder.
Want to know more about TTV? Check out how to make your own proper TTV contraption here, check out the flickr group for inspiration,
or learn more about TTV on this blog.
Someday I’ll have to photograph my camera collection.

I think photography is in their blood.
Or well, I guess I hope it’s in their blood.
It will be nice to be able to train my own assistants!
These photos were not posed or staged.
They were just playing with my camera collection like they usually do.
Micah loves to follow Naomi around a do whatever she does.
They’re so much fun!!
