When you play three sports, have homework and a social life you’re pretty busy. But we found time this afternoon for Mikaela’s senior portrait session. I’m so glad that we had time today for this awesome shoot. We went to the Japanese Tea Garden also known as the Sunken Gardens and were not dissapointed. The place is beautiful, add to that a beautiful senior lady and you’ve got it made for some great photographs. Mikaela has a great smile but can also rock the serious pose as well, which not everyone can do by the way. Mikaela, I had a great time working with you today and can’t wait for you to see the rest. I had a really hard time just picking out five sneak peaks for you. I wanted to post them all!!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy!

I love when I have the opportunity to photograph my friends. It’s really nice to know the family and know the little things that can help make the session go smoothly. Jake wasn’t very excited about this photo shoot, but, for not being excited about it I think he did awesome! You can tell in the first photo how excited he was…ha! But in the next ones he looks like he was born to be in front of the camera. Thanks Mike and Amy for the opportunity to photograph your lovely family of five!!! Can’t wait to watch the kids grow some more! Here are a few of my favorites!

Elizabeth is the creative type. She loves art, literature, history, and music. She’s like me in that she’d rather be behind the camera than in front of the camera. But, I happen to think that the camera really likes her! Elizabeth was so much fun to photograph. We went to the Botanical Gardens (a first for me) and walked around the whole place finding new backgrounds and interesting locations for tons of photos! We had a good time chatting too while we walked around and got lots of great photographs to help Elizabeth remember her senior year! Thanks for the honor of photographing you Elizabeth, you did great. I hope that you love these photos as much as I do!
