We got the kids dressed up for our churches Reformation Fest on Sunday. Naomi had a great time playing the games and watching the clowns put on their skit. She still doesn’t understand the concept of trick-or-treating so we’ll be staying home tonight (which is fine by me). It was fun dressing them up though and Micah didn’t mind the “hood” at all.

I would love to photograph your children in their costumes too. Book a family session and we can get some of the kids in their costumes as well!

I created this album for the mother of the bride that I photographed in February. Yes, that was a long time ago but there were circumstances which made everything pushed back a little. I had a great time putting this album together and can’t wait to see the finished product!

We went to the pumpkin patch with our MOPS@ group this morning. What a great place to get some fun photographs of the kiddos! The pumpkins add a great texture and color to the background and are always fun to climb on. The photos make great decorations around your house at Halloween and Thanksgiving time. Consider a photo shoot at your local pumpkin patch too, something fun and a little different! Here are some of the shots I got of the kids playing with the pumpkins and enjoying the cooler weather!

I packed the kids up this morning and headed south to the San Jose Mission. I was on a mission to get outside, get some photographs and experience something new in my city. Mission Accomplished! Ha! The kids did great and let me explore a little before Naomi insisted on getting out of the stroller. I love to photograph just about anything but I have realized that my passion is really in photographing people. But the San Jose Mission will make a great backdrop to future portrait sessions I can just tell. Naomi was not in a photo mood so I had to capture her quickly without her really knowing it. I just had to get some photos with the beautiful buildings and my beautiful little girl (don’t worry I got Micah in a couple as well). Thanks for looking!

I had a great time taking Julie and Clif’s engagment photos. They decided to let me use my creativity to create a guest book for them from their engagement session. The book turned out great and people really seemed to like it. (I have a sample of my own if you care to see it.) This is something that I love to do and would love to turn your engagement session or senior session into a guest album or coffee table book. Now, Julie and Clif will have a great coffee table book with photos from their session and a reminder of who shared in their special day with them. Here’s a small sampling of some of the pages in the book.
