I have one of the best subjects to photograph right in my house. My 15 month old daughter is a beautiful subject to photograph. Now, she’s not always a willing subject but beautiful none-the-less. I love to get her while she’s in a good mood and willing to smile, but it’s also nice to catch her unaware. Here are some of my favorite most recent shots of sweet little Naomi!
Not paying attention! And then I get a big CHEESE!!
Love this hat on her…and she’ll actually keep it on too. Best buck I ever spent! Love those baby blues!

I’m back from a little time off at Christmas and the begining of January and I’m ready to hit the photography world full steam ahead. I have many things on my to do list for my photography business for the year. First and foremost, I would like to save enough money to purchase a Canon 40D. I am about 1/10th of the way there right now…so I have a LONG way to go. I don’t mind shooting film but it will save me a lot of money to shoot digital, not to mention how much time it will save me too! But for now, I’ll continue to shoot my sessions with my Canon Elan 7e. So if anyone wants to help in the “Buy Jamie a 40D” fund, I’d be willing to accept it
. I’ve purchased a few books to read so that I can continue to learn all that I can. I am hoping to get some classes in soon (before the baby comes) with Jim. I’m working on my website. Lots of work goes into that and I can’t seem to find the big chunk of time that I need! So, here’s to 2008 and getting my photography business off the ground and running!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from our little trip to Indy for Christmas. These were just taken on my point and shoot Kodak digital.

Well, Seth and Kate received the Parents Albums in time for Christmas and I hear they were a big hit. I am so pleased that they are happy with the albums and will always be able to look at their childs wedding with fond memories. I had fun designing the albums and putting them all together. They are not perfect but that just goes to show that they were made with human hands. My next big project will be to design Seth and Kate’s wedding album as soon as they pick out their favorite pictures from the day! As promised, here are a few shots of the finished albums.
