When Amy first asked me to photograph Jake and Sophia sometime I was very excited at the possibility. Today, when we got around to actually taking the pictures I was even more excited. Jake doesn’t like the camera too much…but the camera likes him…what a little stud. And Sophia, such a sweet little girl, the camera likes her too. She even posed for me and put her hand on the wall without me even asking. Watch out little boys she’s a heartbreaker! Thanks Amy for allowing me to photograph Jake and Sophia and to capture memories for you!

I made my little thank you calendars today. I plan on sending these to all my clients from the last year as a little way of saying “thanks for allowing me to capture memories for you.” I really enjoyed all the different types of work I got to do this past year. I had a couple of maternity shoots, newborns, and lots of engagements plus two weddings. I am looking forward to getting some more portrait work under my belt in the next few months to help build my portfolio even more. I am hoping some of the girls from church will be my willing models! I am looking for some great locations around San Antonio to shoot at so if you know of any (besides the Riverwalk) let me know!

I have been working on the album for Kate’s parents and wanted to show Kate what the finished product will look like. I had a great time putting together this album and cannot wait to put together their wedding album. I made this album pretty simple because I thought that would suit her parent’s taste a little better than the “creative” album that I will be making for Seth and Kate!
