Daniel: Class of 2011
Posted on July 17, 2010
I had the great honor of meeting Daniel yesterday.
He’s a soft spoken, kind, young man!
I’m so excited to have him as one of my Class of 2011 Reps!!!
Yay Daniel!
Before the session even started I realized that I locked my keys in my car,
(what a way to start a session)
but Daniel’s mom Karen called a mutual friend of ours and he came out to help.
In the mean time, I got Daniel in front of my camera!!!
Here are a few of my favorites from his session
at Brackenridge park!

Thanks for the fun photo session Daniel!!
Thanks also for helping Aaron pop the lock on my car!!
Still can’t believe I did that!

On the farm

My husbands grandparents live in the country, with a farm, tons of trees, acres and freedom.
Well, freedom to roam, not necessarily freedom from work.
While we were on vacation in May we took the kids to the farm for a day (and one night)
and they loved it. They loved the open space, the animals and just the farm in general.
I can’t wait to take them back again.
Here are some of my favorite photographs from our day on the farm.

I love canvas

It probably won’t come as much of a surprise when I tell you that I love canvas prints.
I have six in my home and am about to get another one.
I want a wedding one this time…
but I need your help!
Surprise, surprise, I can’t decide…
which would you order?

And these wouldn’t have the rounded corners or my logo on them…

Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Random Acts of Kindness

I’m hosting two Random Acts of Kindness weeks
on my family blog, with lots of guest posts and giveaways.
My kids and I got in on the fun today, and had our own Random Acts of Kindness!
We handed out flowers with little cards on them from here.
We left some flowers on cars, some on tables, and some right in the hands of complete strangers.
It was amazing to see the looks on their faces, my kids faces and the recipients faces.
This won’t be the last time we share kindness in a fun and surprising way with strangers.
It’s amazingly addicting! Come on over and check out all the random acts of kindness going on!

Me, myself and my babe
Posted on June 27, 2010
I figured if I didn’t want this child to complain about lack of photographs I better get started.
I have been taking a few photos of my baby bump from time to time,
but I thought it was time for a mini photo session.
I got out the tripod and set the timer and got to work.
Here are four of my favorites from what really is my first self-portrait photo session.
It won’t be my last!
So what do you think?
Girl or boy?

Wow – those are awesome!
Number one and number four are my favorites from this series. I locked my keys in the car the other day and I’m not even preggo…. so don’t feel bad!
